Hi, I’m Amy Kisei

I am a Zen Buddhist Teacher, Spiritual Counselor, Astrologer and Artist.

In my Spiritual Counseling Practice, I practice at the confluence of spirituality and psychology, integrating mind, body and spirit. Spiritual Counseling can help you:

In addition to my Zen training, I am trained in Buddhist Psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dream Work, Hakomi (Somatic Therapy), Process Art and Mindful Eating. My approach also has a deep Jungian influence. I am not a licensed mental health worker.

I have had a long standing interest in cosmology, myth and what the placement of the stars might say about our soul’s unfolding. I am trained in Hellenistic and Evolutionary Astrology. I do Astrological readings and offer Somatic Parts Work Sessions to explore the energies of your natal chart + transit chart.

My Zen training took place at Great Vow Zen Monastery in Oregon, I continue to lead a weekly online Meditation + Dharma talk on Monday Nights 6P PT/9P ET. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio with my partner, we facilitate an in-person meditation gathering every Wednesday from 7P - 8:30P at ILLIO in Clintonville through Mud Lotus Sangha.
