Dream of the Soul Natal Chart Reading

This natal chart reading explores the dream of your soul as expressed at the moment of your birth. The nativity is your soul’s intention mapped in the stars. Each planet expresses part of the myth of your life, inviting you to see your life as mythic, as a flower continuously opening, as a piece of music that you get to play and dance to. Our lives include the light and the dark, each planetary placement offers gifts that we learn to open and challenges that we learn to navigate.

Astro Counseling Package

This four session package starts with a 75/min Natal Chart reading where you can specify an area of focus if you wish. Each additional session will last 60 min. This is an opportunity to dive deeper into your chart and explore through spiritual counseling and astrology deeper answers to questions, this could include:

• Deepening understanding of Life’s Work

• Exploring creative blocks, career impasses or burnout

• Moving through a major life transition

• Exploring relationship dynamics

• Support in understanding the deeper dimensions of your chart and how they play out in your life

We will look at transits, profections, your progressed chart and natal chart. We can also use IFS and somatic work to deepen your relationship to the themes in your chart in an embodied way.

You will book your first reading here, and after we meet I will share a link to book additional readings. The four readings must take place within a 12 month period.

The Great Work of your Life Reading

For most of us the work we do in the world occupies a lot of our time and life energy. Astrology can help us reclaim the definition of work and connect deeper to our heart’s aspiration in this life. For many people there often isn’t one thing that we do as our life’s work, but instead our work changes as we change and come to realize our talents and gifts. During this special focus reading we dive deeper into questions of work, meaning, values, talents and the movement of your life energy, using your natal chart as a template we will also consider transits and progressions.

The Year Ahead Transits Reading

As the planets appear to move through the zodiac they interact with our natal chart, awakening potentials, creating opportunities for growth and change. A year ahead transit reading can help you understand the planetary weather for the next twelve months. We will look at major transits, solar return chart, yearly profection house and lord and your progressed chart to assess the planetary allies, themes and alignments for your up-coming year.

A Year Ahead transit reading can also be explored in follow-up spiritual counseling sessions using parts-work to understand the embodied experience of the various planetary energies as they interact with your natal chart.

More About Me

The path of the spirit and the path of the soul both take many forms, and it is through the walking of these paths that we mature, our insight deepens and our faith becomes more enduring. Different modalities and traditions provide teachings and insight as we navigate these paths in our own lives. In my own life I have had the opportunity to really immerse in a mystical tradition with heart—Zen Buddhism. My training included long study in various forms of meditation, retreat, ceremony, precepts study and selfless service. I have also found it enriching to develop the soul through parts-work, somatic explorations, art/creative process and the study of astrology.

My interest in mysticism and astrology began as a child tracking the stars in the night sky. I loved the poetry and archetypal exploration of the zodiac, and as a dreamy young teen—knowing that I was a Pisces sun provided a deep permission to keep dreaming, writing poetry and following mystical impulses, even when society seemed to want to shape me into something more productive.

It wasn’t until graduate school that I began really immersing myself in the world of cosmology and the language of the stars. I studied Chinese medicine, and learned the Chinese zodiac and associations between the stars and the organs of the body. When I left my master’s program to pursue Zen monastic practice—the story of the stars stuck with me, and throughout my monastic life I continued to learn more about the symbols and stories of the Western zodiac, reading books and studying with local astrologers. 

Over the past three years I had the opportunity to deepen my study and practice of astrology and feel excited to be able to offer readings to others. I’m trained in both Hellenistic and Evolutionary Astrology and draw influence from Antero Ali, Steven Forrest, Demetra George, Renee Stills and Austin Coppock. I have also studied directly with Dena Decastro and Catherine Urban.
