The Morning of the Full Lunar Eclipse

Red Sky Rise

What if you let go

Of comparison

And said Yes!

To the magic

That comes to us each

In the way

We can receive

I christen this morning

With incense and eucalyptus

I offer prayers to the earth altar

And to my ancestors

I return to my commitment

This inner drive

To know

Thyself

To open

Every

Mystery

To stay permeable

Fetchable

As they say

I meet the figures in my dreams

In a practice

I am just discovering

Becoming the rickety cart, my cat, an ancient relic

Three cups overflowing, the crystalline sound of long-stemmed empty wine glasses

Being placed on a glass table

Her cackling laughter

As the light of psyche

Begins to shine through

Each figure

I rejoice

That we are here

Together

On this planet

Made of light
